A place for this build
Set the palace at the end of a long garden avenue with low planting around the court. Keep taller trees beyond the outer pavilions to reveal the layered roofs.
The preview shows the exact full-block layout in a simple landscape. Minecraft textures, lighting, doors, stairs and furnishings are finishing touches to add in your world.
Minecraft Japanese-inspired palace blueprint: before you build
Vermilion combines a long raised main hall, two side pavilions and a separate entrance gate around a formal court. The green tiered roofs have broad overhangs and the red posts establish a clear rhythm. It is an original Japanese-inspired fantasy design, not a reconstruction of a real palace.
This original design uses 7,920 blocks across 24 layers, with a 43 × 43 block footprint. The blueprint targets Minecraft Java 1.21.4; it is a building reference, not a schematic or an automatic game import.
Building sequence
- Mark the main hall, side pavilions and gate on the same centerline, then raise their stone platforms above the garden court.
- Place the red post grids and pale infill panels, keeping the gate and hall entrances open.
- Build each green roof tier from the wide lower edge inward, then finish the paths and garden planting.

How to read the layers
Layer 1 is the bottom of the blueprint. The map looks down from above, with north at the top. Toggle “Isolate layer” to see only the current level, or leave it off to see the supporting structure underneath. Empty cells mean no block is placed at that position.
