A place for this build

Use the quay on a sheltered harbor with space for boats on at least one side of the pier. A path behind the storehouse can link it to a market or fortress gate.

The preview shows the exact full-block layout in a simple landscape. Minecraft textures, lighting, doors, stairs and furnishings are finishing touches to add in your world.

Minecraft medieval dock blueprint: before you build

Saltwater Quay combines a short timber pier, a small stone storehouse and a simple crane silhouette. The crane is decorative and carries no working mechanism; adapt the pier length to your shore and water depth.

This original design uses 1,439 blocks across 12 layers, with a 25 × 25 block footprint. The blueprint targets Minecraft Java 1.21.4; it is a building reference, not a schematic or an automatic game import.

Building sequence

  1. Mark the shoreline and storehouse foundation, then carry the timber pier out over the water.
  2. Raise the storehouse walls and keep its quay-facing opening clear for loading.
  3. Add the crane arm and roof, then extend the pier if your world needs deeper boat access.

How to read the layers

Layer 1 is the bottom of the blueprint. The map looks down from above, with north at the top. Toggle “Isolate layer” to see only the current level, or leave it off to see the supporting structure underneath. Empty cells mean no block is placed at that position.
