A place for this build

Put the forge just off a market street or beside a storage yard. Face its open side toward the path so the workshop reads as part of village life, with room outside for decorative supplies.

The preview shows the exact full-block layout in a simple landscape. Minecraft textures, lighting, doors, stairs and furnishings are finishing touches to add in your world.

Minecraft blacksmith workshop blueprint: before you build

Ember Forge uses an open shed and a brick chimney to suggest a village smithy. The covered working area stays visually accessible from the street. Furnaces, tools and any fire effects are finishing choices; this plan does not include a functioning forge system.

This original design uses 1,644 blocks across 14 layers, with a 25 × 25 block footprint. The blueprint targets Minecraft Java 1.21.4; it is a building reference, not a schematic or an automatic game import.

Building sequence

  1. Lay out the workshop floor and chimney base, leaving the open working side connected to the planned village path.
  2. Raise the shelter supports and roof in layers, checking where the brick chimney passes through or beside the roofline.
  3. Finish the chimney and roof edges, then add your own workstations and storage while keeping the entrance accessible.

How to read the layers

Layer 1 is the bottom of the blueprint. The map looks down from above, with north at the top. Toggle “Isolate layer” to see only the current level, or leave it off to see the supporting structure underneath. Empty cells mean no block is placed at that position.
