Minecraft Japanese-inspired pagoda blueprint: before you build

A layered pagoda design with a stepped roof silhouette and garden setting. Repeated roof edges give the build its rhythm. The isolated layer map is especially useful for keeping the overhangs balanced on every side.

This original design uses 2,412 blocks across 23 layers, with a 25 × 25 block footprint. The blueprint targets Minecraft Java 1.21.4; it is a building reference, not a schematic or an automatic game import.

Building sequence

  1. Prepare a level plot and place the foundation exactly as shown. Keep the center aligned as you move upward.
  2. Build the supports and wall layers, checking opposite sides together. Use the top view to spot asymmetry early.
  3. Complete each roof tier before starting the next. Compare the finished silhouette with the 3D preview, then place the surrounding garden details.

Materials for this design

Counts come directly from the blueprint. These are the blocks placed in the build, before converting them into crafting ingredients.

How to read the layers

Layer 1 is the bottom of the blueprint. The map looks down from above, with north at the top. Toggle “Isolate layer” to see only the current level, or leave it off to see the supporting structure underneath. Empty cells mean no block is placed at that position.

Read the builder’s handbook for coordinates, material stacks and JSON exports, or explore the other designs.
