A place for this build
Set the lighthouse on a rocky point with open water behind it. Allow clear ground around the base so the entire striped height stays visible from boats and the shore.

Minecraft stone lighthouse blueprint: before you build
Greyhaven Lighthouse rises in alternating pale and dark bands to an open lantern crown. The yellow blocks make a visible beacon shape but do not replace functional lighting; add light sources and interior access yourself.
This original design uses 1,625 blocks across 20 layers, with a 25 × 25 block footprint. The blueprint targets Minecraft Java 1.21.4; it is a building reference, not a schematic or an automatic game import.
Building sequence
- Build the square stone base and mark the central shaft before stacking the alternating wall bands.
- Keep the tower aligned as it narrows near the top, then add the open lantern supports.
- Finish the beacon crown and add your own lighting and safe route up the tower.
Materials for this design
Counts come directly from the blueprint. These are the blocks placed in the build, before converting them into crafting ingredients.
How to read the layers
Layer 1 is the bottom of the blueprint. The map looks down from above, with north at the top. Toggle “Isolate layer” to see only the current level, or leave it off to see the supporting structure underneath. Empty cells mean no block is placed at that position.
