A place for this build
Give the hideaway its own pocket in a forest, with a winding path that reveals the red cap through the leaves. Low mossy planting around the stem helps the exaggerated shape fit the clearing.
The preview shows the exact full-block layout in a simple landscape. Minecraft textures, lighting, doors, stairs and furnishings are finishing touches to add in your world.
Minecraft mushroom hideaway blueprint: before you build
The hideaway uses an oversized stepped cap to turn a small hollow stem into a visible woodland landmark. It is built from ordinary full blocks rather than a grown mushroom. Check the cap overhang against nearby trees before clearing your plot.
This original design uses 1,883 blocks across 14 layers, with a 25 × 25 block footprint. The blueprint targets Minecraft Java 1.21.4; it is a building reference, not a schematic or an automatic game import.
Building sequence
- Build the pale stem around its hollow center, preserving the entrance opening shown in the lower layers.
- Lay out the broad lower cap symmetrically, using a temporary scaffold to reach the edges beyond the stem.
- Follow the smaller cap layers upward, then check the red silhouette from ground level before furnishing the interior.
Materials for this design
Counts come directly from the blueprint. These are the blocks placed in the build, before converting them into crafting ingredients.
How to read the layers
Layer 1 is the bottom of the blueprint. The map looks down from above, with north at the top. Toggle “Isolate layer” to see only the current level, or leave it off to see the supporting structure underneath. Empty cells mean no block is placed at that position.
