PICTURE IT IN YOUR WORLD

A place for this build

Place the boathouse on a calm lake or riverbank with clear water in front. Leave a walking path along one side so visitors can reach the jetty without crossing the slip.

The preview shows the exact full-block layout in a simple landscape. Minecraft textures, lighting, doors, stairs and furnishings are finishing touches to add in your world.

Minecraft timber boathouse blueprint: before you build

Reed Bank Boathouse has an open middle slip beneath a long roof, with a narrow jetty reaching toward the water. The cyan surface marks a suggested waterline in the preview; fit the structure to your actual shoreline.

This original design uses 1,632 blocks across 16 layers, with a 25 × 25 block footprint. The blueprint targets Minecraft Java 1.21.4; it is a building reference, not a schematic or an automatic game import.

Building sequence

  1. Mark the shore edge and central boat slip first, then place the jetty where it can reach open water.
  2. Raise the side walls and timber supports without filling the boat opening under the roof.
  3. Complete the long roof and jetty rails, then adjust the decorative waterline to match your world.

How to read the layers

Layer 1 is the bottom of the blueprint. The map looks down from above, with north at the top. Toggle “Isolate layer” to see only the current level, or leave it off to see the supporting structure underneath. Empty cells mean no block is placed at that position.
